We are noooo different from our culture in this. Just read a book called Good News for the Poor, which is a critique of John Wesley’s view of “evangelical economics.” Interesting stuff. We talk about being “Radical” but if it doesn’t show with us having open hands when it comes to our money and stuff I can’t imagine it’s really affecting our hearts…at least that’s what I’ve found with myself.
